What is the digital switch-over?

Openreach are rolling out the latest, most reliable broadband technology, so we'll all benefit from a new network fit for the modern world.

As part of this upgrae, the old analogue landline telephone network which is used to connect traditional broadband to your home, will be going digital across the UK.

Landlines as they are today will be retired by 2027. The digital switch-over simply means landline calls will be made over a broadband connection using new technology called Digital Home Phone.

How does Full Fibre work?

It connects straight to your home, so there’s no landline needed.

Will you arrange for my landline to be removed?

When you upgrade we’ll sort everything for you, including disconnecting your landline. We’ll arrange an engineer to set up your Full Fibre connection and the good news is there’s no activation fee.

What speeds can I get?

Whether it’s just you online or the whole family using everything at once, with our flexible range of speeds from 74Mb right up to 900Mb you can go as fast as you like.

Does it support multiple devices?

If you can’t get it, we’ll offer you our superfast Fibre without a landline, so you’ll still have the latest technology available to you and be ready for the digital switch-over.
